It is a digital mediation platform between people who are willing to help and people who need help. Tasks can be put online quickly and easily and you will quickly receive support from your city/community. You can decide for yourself who should do the required task.
The aim of SAM is to quickly find tasks for which support is needed and to carry out tasks that are carried out by local helpers. Thus, solidarity and helpfulness is digitally supported and people in need quickly receive the support they need in their city or community.
Step 1: Create a task for which you would like assistance. You can choose from different categories like errands, household, crafts, repairs, garden, general etc.
Step 2: Don’t forget to enter your city and postcode so that helpers from your region can find the task more easily.
Step 3: Interested helpers can apply for a job with you. You can exchange information via chat to clarify any questions.
Step 4: Select your desired helper with the “thumbs up” icon.

Why do I have to register?
The app is for the exchange between people seeking help and helpers. To be able to contact each other, a user account is required.
The creation of the user account is free of charge. Other users only see your self-chosen user name and not your real first and last name.
How can I help someone?
Select a task of a person seeking help. Click on “Offer help” at the bottom left.
Your offer will be communicated to the person seeking help. He can accept or reject your offer of help.
How can I get help?
To get help create a task – assign a title, a description and assign the task to a category so that helpers can find it more easily.
What can I ask for help with?
You can ask for help with various tasks. Whether it’s getting medicine, walking the dog or buying food, you can create a task for everything.
There are different categories for the individual tasks: errands, household, handicrafts, children, repairs, IT support, garden, school, sports, general.
Is there a way to communicate with each other in the app?
If you want to help someone you can exchange and receive further information under “Contact”.
Via the chat, people seeking help and those helping can communicate with each other.
What is the evaluation for?
After completing the task, the person seeking help and the helper can evaluate each other. These ratings are displayed in their own profile and other users can view the rating. So you can choose the best rated helpers and help seekers.
Is there a limit to the number of tasks you can create?
No, you can create as many tasks as you want.
Can I choose my helper?
Yes, you can choose your helper. After someone sends you an offer, you can accept or decline it. The other helpers who have applied will get an info that another helper has been chosen.
